X-UA Compatibility Meta Tag

Published on .

What is it?

The <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> tag is an HTML tag that is used to instruct Internet Explorer (IE) to use the latest rendering engine available to it.

Do you need to include it?

No, you do not need to include it. For modern browsers, I do not see any differences whether it exists or not.
