I Hate Marquee Element

Published on .

I had to deal with a website. Then, all I thought was to get out of this website as soon as I was done to do the things on that website.

Have you ever thought about a user that wants to get things done in a hurry?

Users just want to get things done as quickly as possible and as easily as possible.

The website that I had to deal with contains a <marquee>. <marquee> is the most annoying element that is used to show important updates on that website.

That moving text makes it harder to read that information. Also, I got annoyed that I had to wait for the text to come up.

Unfortunately, I could not avoid that website. No alternatives to that website.

For that experience, I learned that as a developer, I should not think that my users will love to spend a lot of time. I must never use the <marquee> element.
